Diazolidinyl urea is a water-soluble preservative that is considered safe at concentrations of 0.5%. It is usually a fine white powder and is often combined with other parabens and preservatives to protect the product from contamination and spoilage.

Diazolidinyl urea is found in a variety of cosmetic, aftershave, hair care, skin care, nail care, and bath products.

 

Chemical and physical properties

Diazolidinyl urea is a fine white powder with a characteristic odor. It is easily soluble in water and does not dissolve in fats. Diazolidinyl urea contains 19-21% nitrogen, has a maximum weight loss of 3% on drying, a maximum residue of 3% after combustion, and a maximum heavy metal concentration of 10 ppm.

Green chromium hydroxide

Rice bran wax

Rice bran wax is a vegetable wax extracted from rice bran oil.

Rice bran wax is edible and due to its relatively high melting point, it can be used as a substitute for carnauba wax in most applications. It is used in paper coatings, textiles, explosives, fruit and vegetable coatings, confectionery, pharmaceuticals, candles, electrical insulation, waterproofing, carbon paper, typewriter ribbon, printing ink, lubricants, adhesives, chewing gum and cosmetics.
